JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our HPE Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our high-pressure gas systems, with a specific focus on hydrogen storage. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct comprehensive inspections of high-pressure gas systems to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications. Perform routine quality checks and tests on hydrogen storage systems.

* Accurately document inspection results, defects, and non-conformities. Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, including test results and corrective actions taken.

* Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements to enhance product quality and reliability.

* Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed during inspections and testing. Promote a culture of safety within the team.

* Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control standards, procedures, and best practices. Assist in the implementation of quality control programs.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality management system. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

* A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certification is preferred.

* Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the high-pressure gas or hydrogen industry.

* Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality inspection.

* Interpret and understand GD&T requirements, and properly interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical data required.

* Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to high-pressure gas systems. Proficiency in using quality control instruments and tools.

* Excellent mindfulness and critical thinking skills. Ability to identify and address quality issues effectively.

* Effective communication and people skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with quality management software is a plus.
