Quality Control Inspector
You will be responsible for conducting quality control tests on raw materials, in process product and finished goods to ensure compliance within set specifications and standards. Collect and label raw material samples according to approved procedures. Conduct quality control testing of raw materials including, but not limited to, chemical analysis and physical test results. Record and compile test data and submit to QC Supervisor or Manager. Assist in training new employees as well as providing guidance and support to all employees. Maintain and keep records of all calibrations and maintenance of equipment used in testing. Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure the following activities are accomplished daily:
* Review production schedule and plan work accordingly.
* Gather samples for testing per approved procedure.
* Prepare all paperwork associated with testing.
* Conduct all testing in accordance with current QC procedures.
* Report any abnormalities found during testing immediately to supervision.
* Maintain all equipment in a clean and operable condition.
* Follow all safety policies and procedures.
* Work safely at all times and follow all safety policies and procedures.
* All other duties as assigned by direct management.
What you bring
* BS degree in an engineering field preferred or BS/BA degree with related experience, training or education.
* 2-5 years of experience in an Engineering or other technical environment preferred
* Technical knowledge base and self-motivation to handle unforeseen challenges
* Ability to analyze and resolve problems related to manufacturing and improving product quality
* Ability to read and understand drawings and engineering documents
* Ability to multi-task and connect related ideas and past experiences as they arise in different situations, and the flexibility to work in an organization with overlapping responsibilities.
* Demonstrated planning, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills in a team environment.

The position is located in the Lehigh Valley but requires training in Pekin, IL.
