Our services include construction management, fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction and management services.

  • The Quality Control Inspector inspects all fabrication jobs to maintain the quality levels of work produced in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Travel to subcontractors to inspect jobs for proper standards when required.
  • Prepares daily inspection reports.
  • Monitor records on all shop welders with their level of certification and monitor daily rod use.
  • Assist in set up, monitor and maintain welding procedures, bolting procedures and painting procedures required for projects.
  • Provide feedback on questions related to quality and project requirements from shop employees.

The QC Inspector should have an Associates Degree from a college or trade school and/or 3 years of experience in a steel fabrication shop. Previous fitting and welding experience is desirable. Must have excellent mathematical skills. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings and pass an inspector test. AWS certified welding inspector. ASNT level-II certification or SSPC/NACE certification is desirable.

Ability to lift 80 lbs. occasionally and be able to climb 25 feet. Must have ability to bend, stoop, push and pull frequently. Requires occasional travel with overnight stays. Exposure to temperature fluctuations and loud work environment.
