Quality Control Lead - FootBridge : Job Details

• RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determines the quality system requirements to be applied to suppliers and contractors.
• Establishes and oversees the Vendor and Site Quality Audit Program to ensure the Supplier Quality Program complies with Contract Quality requirements.
• Conducts both planned and unplanned inspections, and/or assessments.
• Reviews Quality Manuals, as well as their inspection, testing, welding, and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures, and quality records.
• Reviews Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to confirm inspection requirements.
• Complies data and tracks the performance of the project's quality system performance through audits, and inspection activities.
• Collaborates with site construction leads to monitor the Quality Programs ensuring they comply with project procedures and are effective.
• Identifies key high-risk quality activities and ensures risk mitigation plans are created and monitored through to completion.
• Tracks and trends project non-conformances, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
• Participates in system walk-downs and verifies the accuracy and completeness of punch lists for quality-related issues.
• Assists in resolving supplier quality issues as needed.

• REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ Years of experience in major construction projects
• Experience managing QC programs for large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc...)
• Complex problem-solving skills

• EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

• BS Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
