Ready to be part of our team? We are looking for a Quality Control Manager in our Modesto, CA facility! Base salary $105,000 plus annual bonus. Summary: The Quality Manager leads the efforts of the organization to ensure compliance to the Company's Quality Assurance Programs, provides leadership to develop and implement quality policy, procedures and systems, manages the quality process for the entire product line from supplier to customer. Essential Duties:
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO37301). Creates & Maintains Quality metrics.
- Hands on approach to developing and enforcing Quality Assurance System for:
- Incoming raw materials,
- In Process and pre startup / setup
- Finished Product Quality Assurance Procedures and traceability.
- Communicate quality standards and expectations to employees, suppliers and customers.
- Leads customer complaint investigation, warranty claim response and resolution, root cause analysis & corrective action implementation
- Conducts jobsite visits and works with contractors/customers to identify and resolve field quality issues.
- Managing a partnership with the Field Services team to help resolve customer issues.
- Responsible for Continuous Improvement projects to improve the effectiveness of Quality Management System, associated processes, to improve production key metrics.
- Responsible for managing internal-external audits and the corrective / preventive actions.
- Leading, coaching, and the career development of the Quality Assurance team and associates.
- Responsible for the warranty on the P&L.
- Work closely with all other departments to ensure actions resulting from RCCA investigations are complete & necessary records are recorded.
- Act as backup for subordinate positions as needed.
- Makes timely decisions and actions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process.
- Measurement Systems - Ensure robust measurement tools are made available to QC inspection points, including responsibility for calibration database.
- Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.
- Must be willing to travel (U.S. and Canada) (approx. 5-15% travel)
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a manufacturing related discipline
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a construction environment
- Leading a quality team.
Computer Skills:
- Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
Other Skills and Requirements:
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
