Quality Control Technician - Georgetown, SC 12 hour rotating shifts - Agru America : Job Details

Must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift; rotates days to nights monthly.Responsibilities-- Examines, measures, and tests the quality of products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.-- Utilize database to record measurements-- Label/package archived product or marketing samples-- If deficiencies found in products notification to supervisor or manager to be done in a timely manner-- Maintain a clean working environment-- Any other duties that the Company assigns as needed. Qualifications-- High Attention to detail-- Ability to manage time effectively -- Basic Mathematic and Unit conversion skills-- Computer literacy -- Written and verbal communication in English-- High School diploma / GED, required-- Prefer at least 1 year of Quality testing experience -- Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.-- This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping.-- Must be able to work in a non-controlled environmentWhat we offer:-- Medical coverage with BCBS.-- Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and Group Life Insurance thru Principal.-- As a benefit to our employees, we also offer supplemental policies with Aflac and Legal/ID Shield.
