POSITION SUMMARY

To support the General Mills North LATAM Labeling and Regulatory Compliance group to develop, maintain and assure technical product documentation meets business, third party and authority requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead and facilitate monthly Consensus meetings with MKTG, Sales, TM, & Finance

* Develop and understanding of US, Caribbean and LATAM regulations, requirements, and General Mills Policies.

* Author and Issue Technical Specifications of General Mills products for Global markets. These documents

will include formula disclosure (ex. food additives)- regional regulatory knowledge of requirements and functionality will be used daily.

* Drive Product Registration in LATAM markets and plan the modifications & renewals as necessary.

* Respond to border holds and regulatory queries.

* Create, Translate and Maintain product labels for LATAM markets.

* Manage of technical documentation repository.

* Support Certificate of Free Sale requests, in-country legalization and apostille of documents.

* Support Product Sample requests and manage international shipping to third parties. Supply Certificate of quality, letters relating to Ingredients, regulatory statements, certificates, Tech data sheet, CoA, etc.

* Establish communication flow to provide vendors, customers, and the business team with documentation updates.

* Work closely with Labeling & Regulatory Compliance team members to support project and business work.

* Identify any gaps and work with the team to implement improvement plans. Educate the team members on regulatory and compliance requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

* BS or BA in Business/International Affairs or Nutrition/Science Degree or related discipline.

* Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience.

* Some food regulatory experience is desirable

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Share Point).

* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

* Good leadership, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills capable of communicating with different countries and teams.

* Able to work on a variety of different projects and prioritize appropriately.

* Strong problem-solving skills.

* Flexible and able to handle ambiguity.

* Able to work independently and still support team in other functional areas.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $51900.00 - $71500.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
