Position: Quality Engineer (or Quality Inspector III)
Compensation: $70K - $85K, depending on level of experience
Location: Fully on-site in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire

Overview: The Quality Engineer is a hands-on role focused on solving complex manufacturing challenges with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer requirements are met during contract reviews, engineering, and production processes.
- Train operators and ensure compliance with in-process procedures (e.g., trimming, assembling, packaging).
- Conduct 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections, including customer-mandated testing.
- Approve or reject samples based on conformance requirements; document non-conformance and corrective actions.
- Maintain start-up and final product samples, along with quality control documentation.
- Utilize a Laser 3D scanner to develop efficient inspection methods.
- Foster a culture of cooperation, continuous improvement, and team success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience in a Lean manufacturing environment (injection molding experience preferred).
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485, TS16949, and quality principles (e.g., FMEA, statistical analysis, validation protocols).
- Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., FARO Arm, calipers, micrometers).
- Strong computer skills (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, manufacturing software).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and teams effectively.
- Ability to lift/move objects (10–25 lbs) and meet specific vision requirements.
- Certifications like CQE or CQA and knowledge of Theory of Constraints are a plus.
