Quality Engineer - Randstad : Job Details

Our client is looking for someone to start their career as a Quality Engineer in the Binghamton, NY area! We need someone who has a great personality to collaborate with cross-functional teams and willing to be thrown into all aspects of Quality Engineering with an incredible team supporting you. This includes continuous improvement, process improvement, Lean techniques, GD&T, etc.

This is an entry level position asking for experience through an internship or a school project with demonstrated leadership. If you have a BS or AS Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, and you are a self-starter/self-learner with the desire to start your engineering career, this is the right job for you. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to assess and resolve technical challenges.

Conduct root cause analyses regularly to address issues impacting quality, cost, and delivery.

Apply technical expertise and quality techniques in areas such as machined assemblies, inspections, supplier quality, and related processes.

Lead projects and establish processes and procedures to support and improve Quality Systems.
