Quality Engineer - Pacific International Executive Search : Job Details

Pacific International has been retained by a global Fortune 200 manufacturing company currently navigating a transformation. To continuously improve their operations, they are consistently assessing their processes, efficiencies, and leadership mindset - all while striving for excellence to ensure high performance and maintain their well-established position in the market.

Currently, they are searching for a Quality Engineer to drive the quality of their raw materials. This person is going to be providing technical support to operations to improve customer satisfaction and quality-related performance of the business. This role will also provide support for quality related root cause analysis, customer complaint communications, non-conforming product dispositioning, and technical continuous improvement programs. In addition, the quality engineer will use data analysis, technical knowledge, and a strong quality mindset to support the product quality and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Applied knowledge and experience working with Quality Management System requirements such as ISO 9001:2015.
• Experience interfacing with Customers and Suppliers on quality and technical issues.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and developing effective corrective/preventative actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Statistical Analysis software (MiniTab or JMP preferred).
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated proficiency conducting Measurement System Analysis.
• Delivers clear verbal and written message to both a diverse audience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is desired.
