This is a permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment where you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of teams and utilize your expertise in AIAG PPAP, SPC, R&R, ISO 9000, DFM, and Design for Manufacture. - Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place and adhered to.
- Utilize AIAG PPAP, SPC, R&R, ISO 9000, DFM, and Design for Manufacture methodologies to drive process improvement and product quality.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities or other quality failures.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with ISO 9000 and other relevant quality standards.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with AIAG PPAP, SPC, R&R, ISO 9000, DFM, and Design for Manufacture.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
