Seeking a proven Quality Engineer to ensure product quality through effective engineering practices and to drive continuous improvements by being responsible for a variety of engineering assignments focused on facilitating the control and improvement of product quality, working closely with key stakeholders in the process.Job Duties:Implement QA procedures during pre-production and production startup phasesPrepare necessary reports and maintain accurate records including internal audits and audit reportsEstablish quality procedures and guidelines for new products in collaboration with the engineering teamReview current products and establish quality assurance procedures and associated documentationCollaborate with design, process engineering, manufacturing, sales, customer service, and purchasing teams to resolve issues related to customer complaints, product design, specifications, materials, tooling, and production affecting qualityApply knowledge of quality systems to develop and improve systems and products, ensuring compliance with internal, customer, and ISO 9001 requirementsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar area preferred2 years of experienceEffective communication and listening skills with internal teams, external suppliers, and subcontractorsAbility to write technical reports and business correspondenceProficiency in advanced mathematics and statistics, computer literacyAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to inspections and manufacturing operations, Understanding of GD&T principles, Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), and Knowledge of Process Capability (Cpk/Cp)Understanding of precision machine shop production techniques and processesCompensation:Competitive compensation and benefitsPay is commensurate with experience**For more information on this opportunity, contact Millisa Reynolds directly at515.###.#### **Resumes may be confidentially emailed
