Job Description :
Job title: Quality Group LeaderLocation: New Bern, NC (on-site)Compensation: $90K - $125K (flexible depending on experience) + 10-15% bonus + relocation package (if needed)Our client, a leading manufacturing company specializing in home appliances, is looking for a Quality Group Leader with strong experience in quality, problem solving and product management in the manufacturing space.This role offers great progression opportunities for those with a strong manufacturing background and an aptitude for leadership in quality management.Responsibilities:
  • Setting PD/QMP Q-Targets and Driving fulfillment of quality targets (short, mid and long term) & KPIs
  • Value Stream Performance Monitoring
  • Supporting maturity of product safety framework, Mitigation Framework and its Digitalization
  • Factory Release activities (processes & parts) ensuring fulfillment of product requirements
  • Factory support activities (e.g. attending DLR's, Leading System CIPs)
  • Problem solving (e.g. Product Safety, Final Audit faults)
  • Leading Continuous improvement of product, service and management system
  • Driving the process digitalization of Quality Management: Paperless laboratories, Digitalization in Product Audits
  • Managing a team of 6 direct reports + 4 indirect reports
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (Sciences/Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum 5-7 years of Quality experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience
  • Automotive/Machinery Manufacturing background preferred
  • Ability to work independently and make timely and critical decisions in the best interest of the company
  • Experience with Project management, Manufacturing processes, Planning and Organization, Quality tools (like FMEA, APQP, SPC, Shainin, 6-Sigma etc), problem solving, team building/leading, Measurement technology, ISO 9000
  • Writing & enforcing easy to follow policies and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of Print/drawing layout and interpretation
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
  • Knowledge of PC documentation and scheduling tools
