Job Description :
GENERAL SUMMARYThe Production Control Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the machine's production schedules.Quality Assurance Leadership:
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems and processes to ensure all automotive products meet or exceed established quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, APQP, and supply chain, to achieve the highest quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills (both written and verbal communication) to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to initiate and/or manage various priorities and projects.
Inspection and Testing:
  • Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Conduct audits and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct warranty analysis.
  • Manage scrap reporting.
Quality Metrics and Reporting:
  • Design and execute tests to assess product reliability.
  • Develop quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify trends.
  • Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Maintain and improve quality standards based on data-driven insights.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
  • Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.
  • Provide technical support to production teams in problem-solving and corrective action implementation.
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving tools such as Six Sigma, 8D methodology, DMAIC, and Red X Methodologies.
Quality Documentation:
  • Create and maintain quality documentation, including process flow charts, control plans, and inspection reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry.
  • Lead Auditor Certification in quality system auditing such as IATF 16949 and ISO/TS 16949.
  • Experience with Supplier Auditing.
  • General MS Office skills, including MS Word; proficiency in Excel, Formulas, PowerBi, and PowerPoint.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSThis position reports to the Director of Corporate Quality and has no direct reportsWORKING CONDITIONSThe Corporate Quality Improvement Engineer role involves the following working conditions:
  • Mix of Production Floor and Office Environment:
    • As part of your responsibilities, you will work in both production floor areas and office settings. This combination lets you gain firsthand insights into manufacturing processes while engaging in analytical and administrative tasks.
  • Frequent Travel (up to 25%-30%):
    • Depending on project requirements and business needs, you may be required to travel. This travel could include visits to manufacturing facilities, supplier locations, or other relevant sites. Being adaptable to different environments and having good time management skills will be essential.
