QIP Manager is a stretch position requiring an individual with strong initiative and self-starter skills. Creating a new program requires the ability to research, study, and regularly meet with both Partnership representatives and the Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Compliance Officer. The QIP Manager will develop policy and standard operating procedures, inspire and organize the clinical team, and demonstrate enthusiasm, discipline, and resilience throughout the process.Training will primarily come from self education and Partnership initially, but as the program develops, training will also be available from the Clinical Director, COO, and Compliance Officer. The QIP Manager will need to be proactive about scheduling regular meetings with Partnership representatives and collaborating with the Clinical Director to develop an understanding of Partnership QIP requirements and workflows. When questions arise, the QIP Manager will need to be comfortable with researching those questions and/or going to Partnership when answers are not readily available online or in written resources or from the assistance of the Blue Stone team.Qualifications:
  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year experience in healthcare and 1 year experience in administrative role preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and complete detailed correspondence and memos.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform simple mathematical skills as needed.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to deal with patients and staff in a professional and courteous manner; excellence and professionalism in dealing with third-party vendors and contractors; ability to establish rapport and mutual respect with vendors and contractors.
  • Computer literacy: High level of computer and technology skills and proficiency. Ability to rapidly adapt to new applications and software. Minimum typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
  • Business skills: Ability to negotiate contract pricing and advocate for the company's interests while working with third-party vendors and insurance companies; ability to accurately report issues and concerns to vendors.
