JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector JOB SUMMARY The Quality Inspector position conducts origination inspection of parts and supplies, ensuring the quality of products through thorough assessment and analyses using specific procedural standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Follows standardized procedures to perform first part, final and receiving inspections on a wide variety of parts and assemblies.
• Applies a wide variety of gauging; devises methods of checking unusual parts; maintains allowable variations from standards.
• Makes disposition of rejects and provides constructive feedback for quality improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus.
• Must be open to work planned overtime if needed.
