Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Inspector I to join their team. As a Quality Inspector I, you will be part of the Quality department supporting Receiving and Final Inspection. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.Job Title: Quality Inspector I , 1st shiftLocation: Grand Rapids, MIPay Range: $21 per hourWhat's the Job?Provide inspection support for both Receiving and Final Inspection.Inspect product per blueprint requirements in accordance with the current quality procedures.Evaluate product compliancy through a thorough understanding of industry specifications, blueprint reading and GD&T.Prepare and completes First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 requirements.Conduct Assembly Floor Layer Process Audits as well as 5S audits to ensure a safe and productive working environment focused on producing quality product.What's Needed?Must have two (2) years experience working in a manufacturing environment.Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an Accredited Institution.Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.Experience with software packages (e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, SharePoint, and Power Point etc.)Ability to read, understand and follow product specifications, drawings, and work orders in EnglishWhat's in it for me?Opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing company.Competitive pay rate of $21 per hour.Opportunity for growth and development within the company.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
