Express Employment is looking for a Quality Inspector for our Valued Client in Vienna, OHShift:Day 6:00a-4:30 M-FPay:$40,000-$60,000 per yr Based On ExperienceSummary:The Job Holder (JH) assumes the position of Quality Assurance Inspector. The JH provides support and guidance towards the achievement of maximum process and quality assurance on the shop floor supporting Manufacturing and Machining areas in daily quality tasks. As well as supporting internal/external audit processes.Primary Duties:The following duties are not all inclusive but describe the main duties for the JH:Inspect and approve product at various stages of manufacturing to ensure conformance with job orders and diagrammatic specificationsPerform first article, in-process and final inspectionMeasure reference points to verify assembly layout and machine setup, product conformance using templates, squares, straightedge, tape, precision measurement tools, etc.Inspect product for visual appearance and conformanceIdentify parts for acceptance or rejection, completes or verifies completion of respective paperworkDocument and report inspection resultsMonitor application of customer specs or internal defined processes necessary to fulfill CTQs from customersMonitor correct application of all internal inspection documentsMonitor document control with respect to production drawings and customer specsMonitor quality system for conformance on the shop floorIdentify and/or assist in the Investigation and root cause of NCRsSupport and enforce the application of the SMI Quality System as outlined in the QSM, WIs, QMPs and SOPs on the manufacturing floorSupport and participate in internal auditing of processes and practicesAssist and execute in-house training as requiredRequired knowledge, education & skills:Education:High school diploma or GED preferredKnowledge of operating principles and techniques of manufacturing/welding/machining processesRead/interpret fabrication/machining drawings and specifications requirementsInspect fabrications/machining to reference drawingAbility to inspect welds to ASME and AWS codeSkill in both verbal and written communicationsSkill in procedural/technical writing techniquesProficient in basic computer applicationsProficient in reading and interpreting customer drawings/specifications requirementsAbility to communicate professionally with personnel outside the organizationOutstanding decision making abilitySelf-motivator, able to work unsupervisedGeneral knowledge of ISO9001 quality systemsAdditional Responsibilities:JH to support/recommend Process, Continual and Cost Improvement ProjectsJH to demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.JH to support company policy and health and safety programs.JH to lead by example throughout the organization in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and work habits.If interested Please apply here, Call us at 330-###-####, stop by our office at 2460 Elm Rd NE, Ste 700, Warren, OH 44483, or you can email us at [email protected]#war3244PandoLogic.
