Quality Inspector - Selectek : Job Details

Responsibilities:Review customer drawings and specifications to determine necessary inspection points.Document necessary inspection and test instructions and update them as needed.Maintain adequate quality assurance records.Conduct quality assurance and corrective action follow-up reviews.Perform original and periodic inspections of special and standard gages, test equipment, and tooling used in product manufacturing.Ensure inspection and test equipment remain calibrated within established timeframes.Prepare and read inspection reports for quality, measurements, calibration, and other technical documentation.Perform First Piece and Final Parts inspection.Requirements:US CitizenMinimum of 4 years of Quality Inspection experience in a machine shop environment.Background in Quality Inspection with a variety of materials such as sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel, and/or polymers.Ability to read blueprint drawings.Experience with measurement tools (e.g., Micrometers, Gages).Understanding of geometric tolerancing (GD&T).Experience with First Piece and Final Parts inspection.Preferred:Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a Quality Inspector with 4-5 years of experience in a job shop environment. They should be proficient in First Piece and Final Part inspecting and able to handle a high volume of parts efficiently.
