Job DescriptionPrimary Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for yard compliance to NOV policies and procedures such as, but not limited to HSE and HR
  • Responsible for yard compliance with the Tuboscope Threading Quality Manual requirements
  • Part inspection and auditing of operator inspections per applicable quality system, licensing agency, or customer requirements.
  • Complete inspection reports.
  • Audit operators' first article and inspection reports.
  • Complete understanding of the inspection program.
  • Complete non-conformance reports and communicate status to applicable management.
  • Aid with and audit facility production paperwork as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous experience with mechanical inspection preferred but not required
  • Ability to solve basic math equations
  • Must be able to learn and operate mechanical testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and scales.
  • Blueprint reading skills are preferred but not required.
  • Maintain code 70 certification
  • Manage ordering and customer authorizations for proprietary items
  • Able to perform acceptance inspection on material purchased by the facility
