Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description:

The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of products within our manufacturing process. This position involves the initial and final analysis of products before they are sealed for shipment. The successful candidate will utilize a microscope to inspect small electrical components and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with blueprints and specifications. Attention to detail and strong mathematics skills are essential for accurately measuring and inspecting products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming products and the final output before sealing.

  • Analyze products using microscopes and various measuring equipment, including digital micrometers and gage pins.

  • Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality in product inspections.

  • Inspect and assist in the wiring and racking of customer parts.

  • Maintain meticulous records of inspections and report any discrepancies or defects.

  • Collaborate with team members to enhance quality assurance processes and standards.

Hard Skills:

  • Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction with decimals and the ability to convert decimals to fractions.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in using inspection tools such as microscopes, gage pins, and other measuring equipment.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type:

  • This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.

Work Site:

  • This position is fully on-site in Seaford, Delaware.

Work Environment:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
