We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality of our manufactured products. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where your contributions directly impact the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular quality inspections on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools to check the conformity of products.
  • Maintain, test, and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices.
  • Attempt repairs on broken or damaged products to determine the best way to scale those repairs.
  • Test a certain percentage of all products based on industry standards.
  • Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected.
  • Ensure that labels and handling instructions are accurate according to regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
  • Accept or reject finished items.
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
  • Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
  • Supervise the production process.
  • Resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and precision measurement.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in inspections.
  • Excellent understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics and data analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Capable of reading and understanding technical documents and manuals.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive reports.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school will be appreciated.
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage.
