Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented person to be a Quality Inspector to join our team at G3 Aerospace LLC. The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards before shipment. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a commitment to maintaining high standards, and a passion for quality assurance.
No Experience necessary, we will train you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare products to specifications.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and any defective products.
- Work closely with production staff to identify and resolve any quality issues.
- Calibrate measuring instruments and equipment regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Review production records and address any deviations from set quality guidelines.
- Communicate with supervisors and management regarding quality issues and potential solutions.
- Follow all safety and company protocols during inspections.
- Support other production functions such as shipping and receiving
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or technical certification is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, preferred
- Experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role, preferred but not required
- Knowledge of quality control standards and testing techniques, preferred but not required
- Ability to use measurement devices (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus.
- Experience in Manufacturing is a plus.
