Thay are looking for a dedicated, skilled Quality Inspector with a desire to learn and grow. *The position is on-site in East Aurora, NY and would require all outside candidates to relocate. Job Type:

- 1st shift- 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Role Objective:
- Understanding manufacturing processes
- Interpret blueprints for CNC machined parts from
- Working with Stainless Steel and Exotic Metals (Ex. Titanium machined parts)
- Regularly collaborate and work with skilled Machinists.
- Goal to have 100% quality with 100% on time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and understand Geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD and T).
- Knowledge of performing 1st piece inspection of tight tolerance machined parts .
- Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and hand tools (comparators, vision systems, micrometers, calipers, dial and pin gauges, precision gauge blocks, grinding finish, surface finish, burrs, etc.)
- Perform visual inspection to check for burrs, finishes, etc. using a Microscope.
- Perform random inspections (and audits) on the manufacturing floor.
- Perform First Article Inspections on Products.
- Follow all safety and housekeeping rules, policies, and procedures.
- Accurately document non-conformances found during inspections.
Requirements:
- 2+ years inspection experience in
- 2+ years in Aerospace/Defense manufacturing
- Working knowledge with various metals and plastics
- Familiar with Microsoft Office a plus
- Knowledge of CMM programming and/or PCDMIS
- Strong Attention to details
- Treating all team members with respect and have a positive attitude
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (Guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications)+ OT hours available Benefits:
