Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Opportunity: Quality Inspector II
Are you passionate about ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality? We're looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Inspector II to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes by reviewing products and materials during production, ensuring they meet company specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect machined metal parts and incoming materials to ensure they meet required specifications for machining services.
Perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
Review mechanical and electrical parts and materials to confirm compliance with specifications and purchase orders.
Inspect finished goods for conformance to quality standards.
Ensure all documents requiring special attention are accurate, compliant, and properly maintained.
Create Material Review Reports (MRR) as needed.
Inspect welded components, soldering, and component installations to ensure they meet standards when applicable.
Review output data and associated paperwork for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Utilize Microsoft Office software for data entry and reporting.
Measure components using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and optical comparators.
Essential Skills:
Experience in inspection, quality control, and quality assurance processes.
Proficient in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and visual inspection techniques.
Attention to detail in reviewing output data, documentation, and quality checks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
IP 610 Certification required.
Associate's degree or at least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical assembly diagrams and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with tools such as outside, inside, and depth micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
Experience inspecting soldered installations (IPC-A-610) and welded components (AWSD17.1) is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
Prior inspection experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to support Aerospace activities when needed.

Work Environment:
This role operates in a precision-driven work environment, supporting industries such as Aerospace, Water Treatment, and Medical. You will be working with a variety of measurement and inspection tools, including optical comparators, micrometers, and microscopes. The position is for first shift (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM). You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that ensure the highest quality standards are met.
