Quality Inspector - Edelbrock Group : Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join our team. A Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects.

Shift is 5:30a-4:15p, Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure products are produced per the Quality Management System and meets required specifications

* Perform tasks and use equipment as specified by the applicable work instructions, GMP, and safety policies

* Perform routine inspections with the understanding of required specifications and tolerances

* Perform routine inspections using micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and gauge pins

* Vertical Adcole camshaft measuring and calibration

* Maintain clean and safe work area

* Perform all tasks and activities in compliance of the Quality Management System

* Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision

Qualifications & Requirements:

This position requires and individual with the following skills/attributes:

* High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience

* Pass background and drug screen

* Prolonged standing and lifting 20-25lbs repeatedly

* Ability to handle work while balancing levels of quality and quantity

* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

* Familiar with Quality Management Systems

* Communication Skills

* Computer proficiency

* Ability to read and understand blueprints

* Experience using micrometers, calipers, and varying measuring devices and techniques
