Job Location : Reno,NV, USA
As a Quality Inspector you will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
Responsibilities:
* Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
* Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database.
* Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
* Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
* Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
* Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.
* Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
* Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.
Qualifications:
* High School Degree or equivalent experience required.
* 2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experience.
* Ability to analyze information.
* Ability to report research results.
* Strong documentation and organizational skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Strong math skills.
* Ability to use measurement equipment.
* Basic computer skills.
