About the Role: The Inspection Team is seeking multiple responsible Associates to support quality inspection of both membranes and coated films. These commitments provide the opportunity to join an established platform and help ensure that we are meeting our operations objectives and business needs. The standard weekly hours are 3:00pm-11:30pm - Monday through Friday. This position is a visual inspection role. This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland. Pay and Benefits:
- $ 19.00 - $ 31.00 per hour
- This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

- Support, practice, and live the Gore culture
- Perform visual quality inspection of both membrane and coated film
- Make quality decisions within defined boundaries of Workmanship Standards
- Keep a detailed record of quality issues and loss reasons using MES
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Product Specifications
- Ensure alignment with environmental health and safety requirements in the work area
- Identify and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Partner with the engineering team to support R&D and NPD efforts
- Utilize our quality systems to ensure processes consistently deliver products that meet customer needs and expectations Required Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing/in process inspection experience
- Experience in successfully managing multiple, often conflicting, priorities
- Attention to detail and experience working within a defined Quality System; following written instructions and making good, product-quality decisions
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a functional team environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math and computer skills with ability to learn more advanced computer applications
- Proven track record of productive active-listening, relationship building, and fostering a team culture
- Adapt to schedule changes; flexibility to work in alternate areas, on work alternate shifts, or overtime as needed
- Ability to pass visual acuity assessment
- Ability to make decisions within gray area (demonstrated understanding of personal waterline); a bility to lift 35 pounds on a regular basis Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing with quality inspection
- Prior leadership, sponsorship, or trainer experience
- Ability to operate a fork truck, electric pallet jack, and hand pallet jack (to move material from warehouse storage racks to inspection area) This role requires pre-hire medical clearance by Gore which may include testing to assess visual acuity and/or the ability to wear specific safety equipment as required during the performance of the role.
