Job Description :
The Quality Inspector supports a fast-paced ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO13485 manufacturing operation, providing basic in-process inspection support, production line clearances, and finished product review and release. This role ensures products meet customer requirements by conducting visual and measurement tests under the guidance of senior inspectors.Primary Responsibilities
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor or their designee.
  • Evaluates product against standards using basic measuring tools and equipment.
  • Approves parts by inspecting finished or in-process products and confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work and determining acceptance or rejection.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work, and scrap.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
  • Contributes to the quality and organizational mission by completing related tasks as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to Detail - Job requires being attentive to detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Dependability - Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable.
  • Basic knowledge of measuring devices (scales, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Ability to comply with instructions, prescribed routines, methods, and/or practices.
  • Good mathematical skills - Ability to understand basic algebra, able to calculate.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull up to 50lbs.
  • Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
