Quality InspectorSwing Shift$22/hr-$26/hrJob DescriptionThe QC Mechanical Inspector I is responsible for conducting quality checks on products and parts manufactured internally and those received from vendors as sub-assemblies for production. Products and parts must comply with both Quality and Customer requirements.ResponsibilitiesInspect products delivered by Production to the QC staging area to ensure conformance with drawings, instructions, and specifications included in the job folderInspect parts during production stages as requiredInspect products delivered by the Receiving Department according to drawings and specificationsReport nonconformities to the QC/QA Manager, Supervisor, and/or PMPerform testing as requiredFollow incoming receiving inspection guidelinesUpdate the nonconformities master filePerform additional duties like handling, cleaning, and part engraving required prior to sending products to the Shipping DepartmentPerform appropriate data entry and documentationKeep tools and instruments in order and good shapeMaintain and organize the QC area, which may include working in a Cleanroom environmentOther duties as requestedEssential SkillsCleanroom experienceProficiency with calipersQuality inspectionElectrical testingPressure testingCalibrationInspectionWork instructionQuality controlVisual inspectionAdditional Skills & QualificationsSome college education desirable but not requiredMinimum of 2 years experience performing quality control functionsProficient math skillsKnowledge of inspection instrumentsAbility to read drawingsAbility to follow instructions and specificationsStandard computer skillsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsGood written and communication skillsDetail-oriented, responsible, and dependableWhy Work Here?Working in a high-tech field provides exciting opportunities for growth and development. Employees must conform to all gowning procedures and maintain a professional image in accordance with company standards. The facility is ISO certified and may have some noise and plastic chips in the manufacturing area. Safety glasses and hearing protection are recommended in specific areas. Compliance with company safety practices and procedures is mandatory.
