Quality Inspector - ACE Controls : Job Details

Position Summary: Fabreeka, a Stabilus owned company, located in Stoughton, MA. Fabreeka brings nearly a century of experience providing vibration isolation and shock control solutions for customers worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Team. This will be a full-time, direct hire, day shift position which runs Monday - Friday. The Quality Inspector is involved in performing tasks throughout the QMS and manufacturing processes. He/She will serve as a key source of knowledge for the production and must possess superior written and verbal communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships throughout all departments of the organization is critical for the success of this position. Job functions will include inspection and documentation of incoming raw materials and goods as well as in-process and final inspections. Additional responsibilities will include data entry, record keeping, serving as a member of the internal audit team, assisting with the creation of work instructions, and performing training as needed. Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Follow and implement procedures
• Perform incoming and final inspections to print
• Identify and quarantine the suspect product
• Obtain information to open Quality Complaints reports
• Create/Scan/Maintain records
• Perform in-process inspections
• Assist with work instructions
• Communicate directly with Purchasing/Engineering when inspection questions arise
• Process and review all purchase orders for specific incoming inspection
• Back up RMA process.
• Day-to-day cleanliness of QC
• Inspect, test, and receive incoming material from suppliers.
• Internal Auditor ISO 9001
• Move products from QC area to proper inventory locations
• Ability to assist different departments within manufacturing.

Required Skilled and Abilities

• Ability to read basic engineering drawings
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but will train the right candidate
• Experience using measuring equipment such as tape measurers and scales
• Effective communication skills
• Mathematical skills
• Patience and self confidence
• computer literacy on PC
• Flexible with production work and schedule.
• Have a good command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Have above-average interpersonal skills to work with other departments

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required
• One year of previous experience working in a similar role
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to pass a background check
