Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityAs a Level 4 Quality Inspector at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in delivering Quality Control Inspection support while collaborating with manufacturing teams and leaders. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that quality is upheld across all aspects of production and that our aerospace products meet the required standards of quality and compliance. You will report directly to our site's Supervisor/Site Lead and work out of our Anniston, AL location. In this position, you will influence the safety, quality, and reliability of our aerospace products, making sure they adhere to the highest quality standards. Your efforts will play a significant role in the overall success of our aerospace division and in ensuring customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead efforts to develop, maintain and improve the sites quality system
  • Provide technical expertise to site, leading quality audits and providing support during external audits
  • Serve as Site Representative for quality and the QMS
  • Supplier and customer product quality support
  • Lead calibration system management and coordination for production and ensure calibration records are accurate
  • Administrate internal quality auditing
  • Quality Record Retention (Internal/Iron Mountain)
  • Customer complaint acceptance, communication, and resolution
  • Lead ECATS system administration
  • Be an advocate for Improvements and FOD prevention
  • Coordination of machine qualification efforts, and record retention
  • Issuance of machine operating specifications
  • Set clear goals and use relevant metrics to drive results
  • Monitor company practices against ISO 9001 & NADCAP compliance requirements to maintain ISO/NADCAP certification
  • Lead and own site quality metric updates
  • Site Audit Planning/Support (PRI, NADCAP, Network, DNV)
  • Assist in the develop and maintaining of quality procedures and quality records
  • Demonstrate ability to operate and understand requirements of shop floor processes and procedures
  • Must seek SCA (Source Certifying Agent) - Requires AS9100/NADCAP Certification and successful test completion
  • Must seek AS9100/QSAT Auditor certification

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience in a quality-oriented team within an ISO/NADCAP environment
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience using precision measurement devices or a Certified Mechanical Inspector
  • Experience with precision measurement tool
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and geometrical dimensioning
  • Basic Microsoft Office experience
