Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Quality Inspector - Level II to join our team specializing in Quality for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Ensuring Quality Compliance: By verifying that products meet technical specifications, you will help maintain high standards and reduce defects. Identifying Defects: Your keen eye for detail will catch any discrepancies, ensuring only top-quality products reach customers. Using Advanced Techniques: Utilizing both basic and complex measurement techniques, you'll ensure precise quality control. Segregating Non-Conforming Products: Separate defective products to prevent subpar items from reaching the market. Accurate Documentation: Keeping detailed records of non-conforming products will help in tracking issues and improving processes. Training Others: Sharing your expertise in measurement equipment and quality standards will elevate the skills of your team. Adhering to Standards: Following company norms and standards will ensure consistency and reliability in product quality. Ensure compliance with certifications and accreditations while balancing technical and business requirements.Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen eye for detail to identify defects and ensure products meet technical specifications. Your meticulous approach will uphold high-quality standards.Training and Development: Share your knowledge and train others in measurement equipment, quality standards, and documentation processes. Developing your team's skills will enhance overall performance.Adherence to Standards: Follow company norms and standards to ensure consistency and reliability in product quality. Your commitment to these standards will support the company's reputation for excellence.Education/Experience:High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
