DescriptionExamine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.Measure and inspect parts to ensure conformance to product specificationsInspect completed or defective products or materials by placing them on testing equipment.Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools and labels.Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications.Mark items with details such as acceptance-rejection status. Notify supervisors or QC personnel of production problems.Remove defects, such as chips, burrs, or lap corroded or pitted surfaces.Pack or package by hand a wide variety of parts.Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
