We jointly express and promote our commitment under the corporate brand THE KAITEKI COMPANY.Job PurposeSupports Quality Lab and various locations by preparing test specimens related to customer orders, complaints, engineering, and development.Principal Accountabilities
  • Comply with all company rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Committed to the injury free concept.
  • Understand and Fabricate samples for mechanical, thermal, electrical, chemical and wear properties in accordance with standard test methods.
  • Operate manual equipment in the department and the Tool Room such as lathes, milling machines, etc.
  • Assist with paperwork and tracking of material in the lab.
  • Maintain accurate sample/specimen identification.
  • Make sure equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
  • Ability to think outside the box when specimen preparation becomes challenging.
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions.
  • Working knowledge of measuring equipment including height gauges, micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, etc.
  • Participate in document reviews.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Follow LOCK OUT TAG OUT, and all other safety regulations when performing job.
  • Use measuring instruments to assure dimensional integrity of the product.
  • Assure all products meet all quality/acceptability criteria.
  • Maintain work areas to a high level of cleanliness.
#LI-DNP Knowledge / Skills / Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent English reading, writing, mathematical, and comprehensive skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend SDS sheets, standard operating procedures (SOP's), and JSA's.
  • Physically able to perform work assignment.
  • Follow all safety requirements necessary to be injury free while performing work.
  • Basic working knowledge of physical and mechanical testing.

  • The salary for this position is $22.72. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
