  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of plant experience.
  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures.
  • Basic math and computer skills, particularly in data entry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret test procedures.
  • The ability to work seamlessly in a team environment.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll perform essential tasks that ensure our products meet and exceed quality standards. These include:Primary Duties
  • Cutting, identifying, and preparing production samples for testing, including:
  • Coat weights
  • Adhesion testing
  • Release evaluations
  • Extractables and moisture analysis
  • Lay-flat testing
  • Physical property testing (basis weight, caliper, tensile, tear, gloss, polybond, etc.)
  • Inspecting samples for defects and ensuring materials meet specifications, promptly notifying the team of any issues.
  • Entering data into multiple computer systems, including PRISM, QDMS, shop floor applications, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Organizing and storing customer retain samples and internal samples.
  • Filing production samples and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Keeping the quality lab clean and organized at the end of each shift.Secondary Duties
    • Assisting in the orientation and training of new lab technicians.
    • Supporting quality and production teams by tagging and removing nonconforming materials.
    • Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
    • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team.
