We are seeking a dedicated Quality Liaison to join our team in Princeton, IN. In this role, you will be the vital link between our customers and our plant, advocating for both parties to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.Mitchell Plastics is an award-winning and growing Company.   • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction for all quality-related concerns.
  • Effective Communication: Act as a liaison, effectively relaying issues and information to the plant for timely resolution.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for the plant in customer-related issues and clarify any misunderstandings.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relations with customers and quality groups to minimize the impact of issues.
  • Sorting Coordination: Coordinate or perform sorting of suspect products when issues arise at the customer site until certified products arrive.
  • Reporting: Document and report all relevant issues to the plant to assist in thorough investigations.
  • Internal Communication: Share any internal customer information that may impact our operations.
  • Meeting Attendance: Participate in customer warranty meetings for root cause analysis and early issue identification.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with customer safety rules and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Independent Scheduling: Schedule customer visits based on priority issues.
  • Additional Tasks: Carry out other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written).
  • Good judgment and ability to follow direction in customer communication.
  • Basic understanding of injection molding and the paint process.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Required Skills:
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate (email proficiency required).
  • Ability to detect molding and paint defects (e.g., sink, flash, dirt).
  • Familiarity with key Quality & Environmental Management Systems.
  • No color vision deficiency.
