The primary responsibility of this role is to inspire the team to provide ever increasing levels of quality in our Commercial Chillers for our customers. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Manager is part of the plant's leadership staff that creates and executes the strategic plan for the plant and provides an uplifting and best in class employee experience for the entire Pueblo team.Thrive at work and at home:

What you will do: • Create a culture of employee engagement, continuous improvement, and operational transformation to achieve objectives in product and process quality.• Lead and continuously develop through recruitment, training and mentorship, the skills and leadership ability of both salaried and hourly members of the Quality Team.• Develop and execute strategic plans for the plant that deliver superior performance in the areas of Braze Excellence, employee training, internal and external quality using Lean tools.• Contribute to the development and implementation of new products, processes, tools and equipment.• Create the annual quality departmental budget and manage operational and capital spend to plan.• Implement, audit, consistently apply and sustain Trane Technologies business Operating System / Global Quality Management System and suggest system improvements.• Focus management on the appropriate metrics and actions based on those metrics across the organization, assuring effective tracking of operational performance. • Report on quality metrics from the plant perspective, analyze (key organizational) quality metrics, and perform periodical reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans to close the gaps• Oversee and timely allocate quality resources to support Product Development and plant transformation plan
What you will bring: - Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or Manufacturing related field
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in application of lean tools, root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Demonstrated leadership ability; well-developed oral and communication skills.
- 5 years of direct supervision experience.
- Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management System would be a plus.
- Experience with lean implementation that delivered both cultural and operational excellence would be a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and high-performance team building skills, with ability to develop collaborative relationships, influencing up, down and across organizational lines.
- A strong level of emotional intelligence.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- This role is a safety sensitive role.
Compensation: Base Pay Range: $120,000 - $160,000 Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
