We are seeking a Quality Manager for our Van Wert, Ohio Facility.
Summary:
Oversee the quality activities pertinent to the manufacture of raw material - sheet molded compound (SMC). Responsible for monitoring quality data generated at the facility and provided by suppliers. Be the liaison between the various departments for communicating product specifications, supplier performance and any other areas that are directly affected by the quality function.

- Serve as ISO9001:2015 Management Representative maintaining
- and implementing ISO9001:2015, coordinating Internal Audits and hosting third party auditors.
- Supervise Lead Lab Technician and 6 lab technicians on all three shifts.
- Oversee the preparation of certificates of analysis as required to by external customers.
- Manage disposition of nonconforming raw materials.
- Generate and follow up on corrective action requests issued to suppliers of nonconforming materials.
- Conduct training for employees to elements related to ISO 9001:2015.
- Serve as Team Leader (Lab) for 5S activities.
- Generate supplier scorecards and review with suppliers quarterly.
- Lead 8-D or customer corrective action team.
- Lead FMEA and Control Plan reviews.
- Send out Customer Surveys
- Conduct Supplier quarterly reviews with 2 of our major resin suppliers and 2 of our major
- glass suppliers.
- Conduct 4 supplier audits annually.
- Coordinate Quality KOP's Internal Audits and host third party auditors.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for lab team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related filed of equivalent experience.
- Experience with ISO 9001:15 quality system.
