Quality ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyJob ID:000#######3Date Posted:2024-11-21Location:USA - Patuxent River, MDJob Description Qualifications:The Boeing Company is seeking a Quality Manager to join our team in Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD.Position Responsibilities:Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulationsDevelop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performanceProvide education and coaching on the Quality SystemMay make airworthiness and supplier quality determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agenciesAcquire and manage resources and leads process improvementsDevelop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reportsManage, develop and motivate employeesDomestic travel will be required up to 25% based on business needsThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience managing or leading people or teams3+ years of experience with root cause corrective analysis3+ years of experience preparing reports in support of data analysisBachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business or technical fieldWilling and able to travel up to 25% domesticallyPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Master's degree or higher in engineering, business or technical fieldPrevious experience with Quality Management systemsRelocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
