The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications for manufacturing global automotive parts. Their role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction, meeting regulatory requirements, and enhancing the company's reputation for quality. Effective leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality excellence are essential for success in this role.

  • Quality Assurance Management: oversees the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory specifications. This includes developing quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Quality Control Inspections: oversees quality control procedures and inspections throughout the production process to identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from quality standards. They may conduct audits, inspections, and product testing to verify product quality and performance.

  • Root Cause Analysis: leads root cause analysis efforts to identify the underlying causes of defects or non-conformities. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

  • Supplier Quality Management: They work closely with suppliers to ensure that raw materials, components, and parts meet the required quality standards. This may involve supplier audits, performance evaluations, and collaboration on quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of incoming materials.

Skills & Experience

  • Technical Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry or automotive parts manufacturing.
  • Leadership Experience: 1-2 years, with demonstrated progression in their careers, with increasing levels of responsibility in quality management roles, such as Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, or Quality Assurance Manager. Ability to lead and motivate a team of quality professionals, delegate tasks effectively, and provide guidance and direction to achieve organizational quality objectives.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field is typically required.
