Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join our engineering team. This hire's primary function is to drive Customer Satisfaction (external and internal) and Performance through functional leadership by defining, executing, and deploying a strategic quality plan. You will be responsible for achieving established short and long-term goals for quality metrics and leveraging tools and processes within the sites to achieve continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.Responsibilities:1. Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.2. Set and enforce standards for health and safety, environmental performance, and technical quality.3. Ensure all legal standards are met and that our processes meet international quality standards.4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and address non-compliance issues.5. Lead and manage a team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality.6. Drive continuous improvement activities, which result in cost savings, higher efficiency, and high-quality product performance.7. Manage and maintain the company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes, and finished goods.8. Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.9. Work with the production team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the engineering industry.3. Extensive knowledge of industry-specific quality standards such as: ISO 9001, 13485, and/or IATF 16949.4. Proven experience with plastic, injection molding, and metals preferred5. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.6. Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.7.
