Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?Saint-Gobain Ceramics is looking for an experienced quality engineer to lead the quality team in Niagara Falls, NY!Job Summary: This position provides plant leadership for developing improvement activities, implementing quality control processes, interfacing with commercial team & customers to implement inspection systems for requirements/ specifications while identifying appropriate resources/services to support the manufacturing process including monitoring for compliance.Essential Functions:
  • Lead the planning & implementation of quality systems for ISO9001 compliance
  • Lead the development of quality control processes to meet customer needs and requirements for products manufactured.
  • Establish, identify & support supplier and vendor selection for raw materials and services, including monitoring compliance.
  • Lead & support quality/process improvement activities for scrap reduction, cost reduction, document control, data collection and others as identified.
  • Supervise, evaluate & implement resources including training to support quality activities.
Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?Required and Preferred Qualifications: Requires a BS degree in Technical, Engineering, or Materials Science. A Masters in these fields is preferred. Requires three (3) years of experience as an engineer in a technical manufacturing setting.
