Quality Manager - Senior - Nationwide Technical Resources : Job Details

Job DescriptionSummary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100 standards. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest quality and safety standards required by the aerospace industry.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve the company's QMS to ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements.
• Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Manage internal and external audits, including supplier audits.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address non-conformances and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor key quality metrics and report on QMS performance to management.
• Oversee the control of nonconforming material and the material review board process.
• Manage the calibration program for measuring and test equipment.
• Provide quality training to employees.
• Interact with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date on changes to AS9100 standards and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Manager in an AS9100 certified environment.
• Thorough understanding of AS9100 requirements and aerospace quality management principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Auditing experience (internal and supplier audits).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
