Quality / Manufacturing Engineer Intern - GS Global Resources : Job Details

Job Type: Part-Time - 1st shiftExperience: Entry level, no experience requiredGS Global Resources, a growing distributor, integrator, and manufacturer located in Mukwonago WI, is known nationally as a supplier of mobile and industrial hydraulic and electronic control systems. We have an immediate need for a Quality/ME Intern.Job Responsibilities:•Work with the QE's and ME's on efficiency type projects in shop and complete them.•Projects will require problem solving and research then application.•Inspect quality of incoming and outgoing products.•Document and track results of projects to assure success.•Collaborate with GS Technicians and Engineers to improve quality, cost, delivery, and safety.•Assemble components of new work cells.•Design and build various fixtures, tools or pallets needed for production.The Requirements for the Ideal Candidate Include:•Working towards a 2 or 4 year degree from a university or college with an emphasis in Engineering•Basic working knowledge of hand tools and power tools.•Good mechanical aptitude•Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail•Strong desire to achieve completion of tasks and projects
