Interns will engage in professional development, community outreach, and a final capstone project, while being exposed to various engineering disciplines including manufacturing, quality assurance, electronics, and industrial engineering.We are looking for a Quality/Manufacturing Engineering Intern to work onsite at our Tulsa, OK facility full time this summer.Job Duties:Process Improvement: Assist in continuous improvement activities such as process flow documentation, 5S implementation, and process enhancements. Support New Product Development through participation in team meetings and tasks.Quality Assurance: Develop and optimize inspection processes, manage customer certification and quality management systems, and coordinate internal audits and corrective action processes. Implement statistical analysis on products and processes.Manufacturing Support: Design fixtures, support production to ensure on-time delivery and high quality, and work on the manufacturing floor to improve yield. Conduct time studies, process maps, and capacity plans.Equipment & Document Management: Manage CMM equipment, calibration processes, and document control within the facility.Education and Experience:Currently pursing an Bachelor's Degree in Industrial engineering or a related field requiredNo prior experience necessaryQualifications:Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with additional knowledge in CAD, PC-DMIS software, and statistical analysis preferred.Basic understanding of lean principles and root cause analysis.Strong communication skills and a natural curiosity for problem-solving.Competencies:Collaboration: Work collaboratively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.Communication: Convey information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner that helps them understand and retain the message; listen actively to others.Initiating Action: Take prompt action to accomplish work goals; take action to achieve results beyond what is required; be proactive.Work Standards: Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.Working Conditions:Work is performed in a manufacturing environmentDepending on the assigned department, must be able to complete an audiogramAn Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
