Your Role

As a Quality Specialist, you will report to the Site Manager. You will help determine the methods, operations, sequences, and setups to perform inspections. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This role pays $22.00 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

* Read and understand documents and processes and apply to manufacturing and inspection

* Read blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

* Conduct department audits, ensure current documentation is in use and certification (calibration) of all tooling and test equipment is current

* Use a variety of instruments such as bore gauge, air gauge, profilometer, micrometer, caliper, and comparator

* Create inspection reports and corrective action requests

* Demonstrate active commitment to QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) standards

* Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations

* Work overtime and weekends

Your Skills and Experiences

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2+ years' experience as a Quality Specialist, Coordinator, Auditor, or Inspector

* Experience handling multiple, simultaneous tasks

* Understanding of quality systems requirements such as AS9120 and ISO 9001
