CPI Card Group prides itself on establishing and maintaining the highest level of quality control and quality assurance in the industry. This position is integral in the establishment and measurement of Quality Assurance programs, tools and measurements to ensure the highest level is maintained.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Supervises quality employees including completing timecard review for payroll, facilitating all policies and procedures, executing disciplinary action as outlined by policies, actively engaging in the performance review process, deliver timely feedback to team members
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures including enforcing required PPE, following incident reporting protocol, and completing all required safety training.
  • Plans quality operations including establishing daily priorities, adapting work schedules
  • Partner with other departments to establish quality assurance needs and measures
  • Implement the required operating control checks for each process/equipment to ensure that all customer requirements can not only be met but repeated.
  • Support root cause analysis investigations
  • Ensuring compliance to CQM, ISO, PCI, and customer requirements
  • Work with Innovation and Design personnel to ensure new products and materials are tested accordingly to meet CPI, regulatory, association and customer needs.
  • Maintain the equipment calibration program
  • Partner with the team to ensure that the quality assurance tools and methods are transferred to all aspects of the team. This partnership will include: communication, training, follow up and identification of issues
  • Review processes for continuous improvement opportunities and partner with applicable personnel to determine and implement changes
  • Work with Quality Technicians and applicable department personnel to identify root cause and resolve quality issues for immediate and long term prevention
  • Performs Key Performance Indicator reporting
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated commitment to doing the right thing, striving for excellence, staying curious and being a great partner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Higher education preferred.
  • Basic math, reading, critical thinking, effective communication and reasoning skills.
  • Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated focus and comprehension of production-related metrics
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts through the use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to be present in the facility and work hours needed to effectively accomplish job requirements for the associated shift.
  • Work outside of shift may be required as job duties demand
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus;
  • Work is in a typical manufacturing environment; prolonged sitting and/or standing required (1-2 hours at a time); ability to move around the facility; climb ladders; crawl under/over; reach; bend; stoop; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
