This company will need a Quality Supervisor that has documented experience with driving excellence in product quality and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across this facility.
We are seeking candidates that have Bachelor's Degree in engineering, quality management or applicable education that have obtained advanced certifications such as CQE, CQA or Six Sigma Black Belt. Candidates will need 5-7 years of quality supervision/management experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in industrial products or automotive components. A proven experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for customers on quality-related matters, resolving issues within the parameters established by the company.
- Review customer complaints and identify areas of focus to prevent recurrence of problems.
- Prepare regular quality performance reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and implement inspection and sampling techniques, quality plans, flow diagrams, control plans, and in-process control procedures to ensure finished products meet customer requirements.
- Implement and maintain documented quality systems that comply with ISO 9001.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
- Analyze plant non-conformance reports and recommend process or product improvements to address root causes and enhance quality performance.
- Utilize tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA to drive operational efficiency and reduce defects.
- Lead quality and continuous improvement training programs for plant employees, integrating new techniques and methodologies into daily operations.
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing, sales, and technical departments to establish quality standards and specifications for in-process and finished products across all manufacturing locations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate and monitor the quality of incoming materials and resolve quality issues.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
- Lead and develop the quality team, providing training and performance feedback.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Ensure plant employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain and improve quality standards.
