Quality Supervisor - Sterling Engineering : Job Details

Job DescriptionOverview:Join our client in this direct hire tole as a Quality Manager. Int his role you will ensure the highest standards of quality for cutting-edge automated machinery. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead a dedicated quality team, implement innovative strategies, and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the Quality Department on the shop floor, overseeing a team of two inspectors
• Ensure quality standards are met across the entire roofing machine line
• Review and update existing quality processes and documentation
• Conduct comprehensive quality checks, including guarding, torque specifications, and alignment of components
• Perform root cause analysis when quality issues arise
• Oversee system-wide quality assurance rather than focusing on individual parts
• Analyze and interpret quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall product quality
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in quality management
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of welding and weld inspection (preferred)
• Green Belt or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
